Downtown Locker Room, better known as DTLR, has a long history of launching exclusive colorways of New Balance sneakers. In the last few years, the two entities have come together multiple times for thematic sneakers across NB’s footwear lineup, including a Virginia-themed 2002R, a Christmas-themed pack consisting of a 2002R and a 990v6, and, most recently, on the 1906R Moon Sign. Next up for the duo is an exclusive colorway of the New Balance 530 for the kids.
Dubbed Silver Azure, this New Balance 530 features a breathable grey mesh base that is layered with white, blue, and black paneling across the upper. White panelin is found on the lower eyelet, midfoot panel, and heel overlay, while metallic silver hits the toebox and tongue. Pops of azure blue make their mark on the leather paneling backing the midfoot overlay and on the collar, while the mesh sockliner continues this hue on the interior.
Grounding the grey, silver, and blue hits are solid black details on the mudguard and branding details, including the N logo, 530 text, and NB logos on the tongue. Down below sits an azure blue ABZORB-cushioned foam midsole and outsole.
The DTLR-exclusive New Balance 530 Silver Azure (GS) will release August 1, 2025, through DTLR online and in-store. Available in GS, PS, and TD sizing, the retail price is set at $80, $75, and $65.
