The art of the revival defined New Balance’s 2024 as the Boston-based footwear brand dug into its archives to bring back a handful of different sneakers that hadn’t seen the light of day in decades. One of these models, the New Balance 1000, has remained a steady part of the release calendar since returning in the early parts of last year. There are no plans to slow down; in fact, there are dozens of colorways slated to hit shelves this year, including the Pink Metallic Silver.
The silhouette features a split two-tone upper and opts for a metallic finish on its silver and pink leather panels. The bottom half of the upper comes coated in a vibrant pink hue, as seen on the mudguard, midfoot overlay, and heel, while metallic silver leather runs from the collar down to the vamp. Below this sits a wide-spaced mesh base in a tonal pink shade.

Breaking up the two-tone look are pops of black along the N logo on the midfoot and the internal heel counter, while a vibrant coral shade takes over the 1000 text near the lateral toe, heel, and tongue tag. Laces opt for a pink that matches the mesh tongue, weaving through grey and silver lace loops and a metallic silver leather panel running down the spine of the tongue. Finishing the sneaker is a black foam midsole with pops of coral near the heel and forefoot paired with a white and pink outsole.
The New Balance 1000 Pink Metallic Silver will release in 2025 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $150.
