After a long and grueling NBA season that takes up more than half the year, players will often kick back and take some much-needed vacation time. Those who win championships or make deep playoff pushes have even less off-time on their hands, as was the case last year for Jayson Tatum and his Boston Celtics. Utilizing his third signature sneaker with Jordan Brand, the Jordan Tatum 3, Jayson pays homage to the offseason and some of his hobbies outside the NBA court.
The upper draws inspiration from tropical sunsets and is bathed in a combo of sail and muslin hues, giving the sneaker a beachy sand-inspired color palette. This mixture of neutral hues takes over the upper materials, including ripstop nylon, mesh, and leather, all separated by wavy embroidered textile patterns. Pops of purple appear on the Jumpman near the toe and the JT logo atop the tongue, with more color found on the back of the heel.
