This Jordan Tatum 3 was Made for Deuce Tatum

Jayson Tatum essentially speed-ran his signature sneaker line as he jumped from the Tatum 1, introduced in April 2023, to the Tatum 3 in less than 18 months. While the Tatum 2 was short-lived, the newest iteration of his performance basketball model is poised for an array of makeovers in the coming months. This latest rendition seems to honor Tatum's son, Deuce.

Throughout Tatum's career, we've seen his son be a major source of inspiration. Deuce has made the rounds of NBA locker rooms, traveling with his dad across the country and being named an honorary member of the Celtics. It's also not uncommon for Tatum to write his son's name in Sharpie on the shoes he wears in-game. On top of this, Deuce's name is embroidered inside every pair of Jordan Tatum sneakers.

As for the sneaker itself, we see a mixture of greens taking over the multi-paneled upper, each of the ripstop, mesh, and textured leather panels separated by black textile borders. A splatter paint pattern is applied to the darker green panels, while a lighter green hue sits in between these. Solid black hits appear on the border of these panels and are on the mesh tongue, lace set, and sockliner.

As for branding, the Tatum 3 remains unchanged, featuring Jayson Tatum’s JT logo along the tongue tag, a mini Jumpman near the toe, Tatum branding on the insole, and a nod to Deuce via embroidery on the inside of the tongue. The most radical change to the sneaker comes in the form of the pull tab’s branding, typically hosting Tatum’s jersey number, 0, but instead coming with the phrase “6th Man” split between the left and right shoe. The Zoom Air-cushioned midsole finishes the design in a tonal green paired with a green and black outsole.

The Jordan Tatum 3 Deuce will release on January 14, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $125.
