Spike Lee has long been associated with the Jordan Brand, as his Mars Blackmon character appeared in multiple advertisements for Air Jordan sneakers in the ‘80s and ‘90s after introducing Blackmon’s love for Air Jordans in the film She’s Gotta Have It. Years later, Jordan Brand commemorated Lee’s contribution to the legacy as he received his hybrid sneaker, the Jordan Spizike, in 2006. After the model debuted in low-top form for the first time in 2024, the sneaker is getting an OG makeover for Summer 2025.
Although not the OG OG colorway, this Black rendition of the Spizike Low mimics the second-ever released colorway of the Jordan Spizike from January 2007. Black patent leather appears on the mudguard, while nubuck panels in the same shade take over the toebox, midfoot, and collar. Elephant print details, directly borrowed from the Air Jordan 3, appear in green and black, the latter on the heel and the former around the toe.
