Jordan Release Calendar

There might not be anything more New York than a Spike Lee joint, but if there is, it’s counter-service Chinese food busting out the sides of a styrofoam container. While the famed director basks in the positive reviews of his latest movie, Highest 2 Lowest, starring Denzel Washington and A$AP Rocky, Jordan Brand is dropping an iconic NYC colorway of Spike’s beloved signature silhouette, the Spizike.
The beef and broccoli Spizike wok-fries the upper in buttery dark brown suede that wraps around the entirety of the shoe. Above that, the rest of the upper is olive green with a hit of shine on the tongue cover. To round it all out with Jordan accents, there’s black elephant print on the toe panel and heel counter. The midsole, TPU cage, and tongue are all black, with the only real pop of color coming from bright red Jumpman logos on the lace covers. Keeping with Spizike tradition, the back of the shoe features Lee’s 40 Acres and a Mule production company logo on the right shoe, and his Mars Blackmon character on the left.

Beef and broccoli colorways are a staple of the Timberland boot family and gained traction with New Yorkers dedicated to the rugged workboot brand. In the decades since Wu-Tang was rapping about stomping around Staten Island in green and brown boots, the beef and broccoli colorway has since been adopted by every brand under the sun, including Nike, adidas, Reebok, New Balance, and now Jordan. Still, it’s hard to deny how delicious the color combo looks, and despite the waning popularity of the Spizike, we could see this one go fast. Deadass.
The Jordan Spizike Low Beef and Broccoli will be released Holiday 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $165.
