Zion Williamson is ready for the NBA season. As the Pelicans get ready to kick off the pre-season in Melbourne, Australia, for some reason, the New Orleans star showed up to media day with a movie villain goatee, slimmer than ever, declaring that he felt better than he has since his college days destroying rims at Duke. Rare form, indeed.
The Jordan Zion 4 Rare Form celebrates Williamson’s intimidating new stature with a seasonally appropriate purple and orange colorway. Ready to rock for Halloween, match with a throwback Pelicans jersey, or coincide with his upcoming Voodoo Air Jordan 1 Low, the colorway starts with three shades of purple covering the upper that change tone as the material shifts, eventually adding a white smoke effect on the vamp, lace panels, and heel. The full-length Air Zoom midsole gets a hit of slime green with an orange Jumpman logo in the middle and an orange glow in the Air bubble. The orange theme continues to the tongue lining, Jordan and Zion logos, and ankle collar, bringing a hit of brightness to the top of the shoe.

Like his injury-riddled career, Zion’s Jordan line has been largely lackluster until lately. The Zion 4’s blend of performance and aesthetics, along with a handful of colorways inspired by classic Jordans, has brought the explosive big man back into the signature sneaker conversation. Zion is expected to have a huge 2026 season, so get ready to see the Zion 4 in rare form, flying high in highlight reels.
The Jordan Zion 4 Rare Form will be released October 7, 2025 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $145. To make sure you never miss a Jordan drop again, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
