Boston Celtics fans will be quite happy to have Jayson Tatum back in the lineup this season, as the star guard made a shockingly quick recovery from his torn Achilles. Tatum was able to rejoin the team at the very end of the 2025-26 NBA season, though they exited the playoffs after blowing a 3-1 lead against the Philadelphia 76ers. Offseason shakeups with the team stunned fans as their second star, Jaylen Brown, was shipped down to Philly just months after the 76ers sent the Celtics packing for Cancun. But there’s still hope for the team in Beantown. Outside of the on-court performance of the team, Tatum will have some extra juice from his brand-new signature model from Jordan Brand, the Jordan Tatum 5. After first getting an official look at the debut Sunrise colorway, the inverse Sunset pair has now appeared.
Jordan Tatum 5 Sunset Details
Tatum’s new strapped-up silhouette goes dark mode on this new colorway, opting for a primarily black finish across the leather upper. This black hue dominates the toebox, tongue, and collar, but on the midfoot, a glowing sunset is splattered in red, while an orange sun-like hue inspired by Boston sunsets is applied to the rubber that wraps up onto the side. More red is located on the mini Jumpman sitting on the end of the lockdown strap and the JT logo atop the tongue.
Back on the heel, Tatum’s number “0” is subtly integrated into the heel counter. Unlike previous iterations of Tatum’s signature line, the Tatum 5 reworks the number into an arch to represent his St. Louis roots. Other nods to Tatum’s personal life are found on the inside of the tongue, which contains the names of his two sons, Deuce and Dylan, on the left and right shoe, respectively. Inside, the model features a 10mm Air Zoom unit in the forefoot and a soft foam throughout for a responsive feel on the court. Finishing the design is the black midsole that is broken up by the sunset gradient and a black, red, orange, and semi-translucent rubber outsole.

The Jordan Tatum 5 Sunset will be released Holiday 2026 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in full-family sizing, the retail price is set at $135 (men), $100 (GS), $80 (PS), and $55 (TD).
