Previews of pairs from Jordan Brand and Nike’s Year of the Snake collections have been hitting the ‘net for months at this point, but with the celebration fast approaching, more and more pairs are appearing online. In the last few weeks, we’ve been given detailed looks at all the Jordan Brand Collection pairs, including the Jordan 1 Low SE, Jordan 1 Low OG, Jordan Tatum 3, Jordan 5 Retro, and Jordan 11 Retro Low. Adding to the collection is the lifestyle-oriented Jordan Stadium 90.
Like other collection pairs, particularly the AJ 1 Lows and AJ 11 Low, the upper comes in white shades. Iridescent hues are scattered across the Swoosh with spotted black paint, giving the logo a two-tone look that disrupts the clean aesthetic of the rest of the sneaker. Ripstop material, mimicking the appearance of a snakeskin that has been shed, lands on the mudguard and heel overlay, the latter containing Nike Air branding.
Other nods to the zodiac sign are found on the added hang tag, constructed from a black faux snakeskin, and on the insole with a custom snake-themed Jordan logo. Final details on the upper include the black Jumpman-laden tag on the medial side, the Jordan Stadium 90-branded tongue tag, and the outline of the AJ5-inspired shark teeth near the lateral forefoot. Down below, the midsole comes in a clean white finish and contains Formula23 foam paired with a clear rubber outsole.
The Jordan Stadium 90 Year of the Snake will release in Spring 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, retail is set at $130.
