The Jordan Luka 5 Makes a Statement in Slime Green and Black

Luka Doncic wasn’t lying. He really did spend the offseason getting into the best shape of his life, and he really did come out with a chip on his shoulder this year, teaming up with Austin Reaves and their sidekick LeBron James to put the Lakers in the middle of the Western Conference playoff race. Luka will head into the second half of the season looking for vengeance, and he’ll do it in a new shoe, the Jordan Luka 5.

The latest colorway of Luka’s upcoming fifth signature silhouette with the Jumpman is a bright, bold statement, mixing illusion green and black for a Ghostbusters vibe. The Jordan Luka 5 Illusion takes a two-tone approach to the tech-forward shoe, starting with black across the reinforced mesh upper and tongue and black nubuck on the ankle collar and the top of the tongue. The neon green covers the entire midsole, lower heel, and most of the side panels, including the TPU structural support panels. The logos alternate colors, with Luka’s “77” tongue logo in green against the black tongue, and the Jumpman on the lateral side toe in black on the green midsole.

Jordan Brand’s most advanced Luka signature model yet, the Luka 5 is packed with Nike’s most advanced performance tech yet, adding Cushlon 3.0, Air Zoom Strobel, and ISOband for a court-ready combination of cushioning and stability designed for a 6’8” guard with a bit of newfound agility.
