Although many look to Jordan Brand for retro basketball products, specifically Air Jordan Retro releases, the house Michael Jordan built is still at the forefront of performance basketball. With the explosion in popularity around women’s basketball, Jordan Brand received insights from various female athletes to help inform the design of the Jordan Heir, which was introduced in mid-2024. Ahead of the WNBA All-Star rendition dropping in July, we have first looks at a new Game Royal version of the model.
Multiple mesh weaves are present on this game royal, white, and black colorway of the Jordan Heir, starting with a jersey mesh on the toebox. An open-spaced sandwich mesh finds a home on the bottom half of the midfoot, while this, alongside the leather panel on the top half, is reinforced with a royal blue TPU cage. This cage extends back to the heel and onto the upper medial side.

Contrasting hits of black are found on the leather toebox panels, the piping on the inside of the TPU cage, the mesh tongue, the cotton lace set, and the sockliner. Split Jumpman and Jordan Heir branding is found atop the tongue, rendered in a game royal hue. Finishing the upper are the white Jordan branding details, including the Jordan text on the toe, the Jumpman on the lateral heel, and a blue nylon pull tab. Below sits a white foam midsole and a game royal rubber outsole.
The Jordan Heir Game Royal will release in Fall 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $115.
