Formal wear has been all the rage in high-fashion circles, and sportswear brands across the industry have applied this mentality to their design teams. Jordan Brand is a tad late to the party, though their entry into the fusion of traditional footwear and lifestyle is finally here with the Air Jordan Mule.
Combining the traditional loafer design details with a platform mule silhouette, Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan Mule features leather paneling across the forefoot. Here, we see welt stitching and other motifs found on loafers, like the forefoot leather overlay and metallic silver hardware, while the backless construction allows for an easy on-and-off experience. The cushioned footbed features debossed Air Jordan text in an elevated font to match the logo found on the forefoot, with the design completed by the stacked platform midsole and outsole.
The Air Jordan Mule Black Metallic Silver will release in Fall 2025 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $145.
