The mid-2000s were all about yellow and white. Led by Lance Armstrong’s Livestrong charity and the ubiquitous yellow wristbands that took over culture, the color of sunshine dominated the mid-aughts from fashion to cars and everywhere in between. Jordan Brand brought its own yellow hits to the Jordan 4 with the 2006 Tour Yellow colorway, mixing speckled yellow with white leather, silver accents, and a velcro tongue label for a memorable mix.
Now, approaching 20 years after the original release of the Air Jordan 4 Tour Yellow, Jumpman is coming back with an anniversary retro dropping in 2026. Staying true to the OG construction, the upper is done in premium white leather, with silver accents on the tips of the lace wings, black on the outsole, back lace wing, and Velcro Jumpman Flight tongue label, which can be switched out for replacement patches. Embedded in the Velcro is “Rare Air” text, a feature that actually got its start on the Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 two years before. The yellow is added to the speckled midsole and the Flight tongue logo.

After celebrating 2025’s 40th anniversary of the Jordan signature sneaker line, the brand is cutting that timeline in half for 2026, looking back at 2006 releases for retro inspiration. In addition to the Tour Yellow 4s, Jordan is dropping a 2026 retro of the 2006 Jordan 5 Black University Blue, giving sneakerheads the precise 20-year fashion cycle they’ve been looking for. There are also a ton of different early 2010s drops that will return as well, including the Wolf Grey Jordan 5.
The Air Jordan 4 Tour Yellow will be released Fall 2026 through Nike and select Jordan retailers in-store and online. Available in a full-family size run, the retail pricing is set at $220 (men), $165 (GS), $105 (PS), $90 (TD).
