Last night, Nigel Sylvester officially debuted his upcoming Air Jordan 4 Retro collaboration in a fashion show at The Standard, High Line, in NYC, titled Brick by Brick. The event was filled with stars, industry vets, and friends of Sylvester, who all were fortunate enough to witness a runway show that featured first looks at Sylvester’s first-ever collaborative apparel collection with Jordan Brand and an on-foot look at the upcoming Brick by Brick AJ4. Nigel also took this opportunity full of eyes to tease us with a look at another Nigel x Air Jordan 4 release.
In the show, most models were sporting the upcoming Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 Retro OG SP Brick By Brick, but one in particular was wearing what, at first glance, appears to be the Air Jordan 4 Retro OG Fire Red. The pair has a deep-rooted history in the AJ4s lineage as one of the four original colorways released on the sneaker when it first hit shelves in 1989 and was last released in 2020. Upon closer inspection, the pair worn by the model features an added mini Swoosh near the lateral toe, a touch found on all of Nigel’s previous collaborations, including his two AJ4 RMs and his Air Jordan 1 High from 2018.

Another major difference from the original colorway is using cream hues along the tongue. The original features a white netting with a black tongue, but based on the small view of the vamp, this pair comes with cream and white shades. The heel tab will likely come with Bike Air branding instead of the usual Nike Air or Jumpman logos.
According to Complex, Nigel Sylvester stated that his new Air Jordan 4 Retro OG SP Fire Red will drop before the year's end, likely putting this pair as a Holiday 2025 release. Expect them to retail for $225 and come in men's sizing, like the Brick by Brick colorway.
