2025 was a major year for the Air Jordan series, especially the Jordan 4. Some of the best colorways to ever grace the sneaker hit shelves this year, including Nigel Sylvester’s Air Jordan 4 Brick by Brick, a retro of the White Cement, and something many never thought would happen: a re-release of the coveted Undefeated x Air Jordan 4. It’s going to be tough to follow up this stellar lineup, but 2026 is already looking promising with news that the AJ 4 is getting a Los Angeles Lakers-themed colorway.
Primarily doused in the LA Lakers signature purple, the sneaker utilizes suede paneling on the mudguard, toe, and midfoot panels. Black netting on the tongue and midfoot contrasts the light grey used on the wing eyelets, while we get our first pop of Lakers gold on the Jumpman atop the tongue. Moving back to the heel tab we see more golden hues on the Nike Air logo, which is finished with purple speckle paint details to give it a cement feel. Underfoot sits a black, cream, and grey midsole and tonal outsole.
