It’s Christmas in July. We’re just five months away from the best holiday of the year, where gifts are given, families reunite, and you drink a bit too much eggnog. It’s never too early to start your Christmas list, but if you end the year on Santa’s naughty list, expect to see a lump of coal in your stocking and no presents under the tree. Taking that theme to heart, Jordan Brand has crafted a brand-new Air Jordan 3 colorway dubbed “Not Nice.”
Air Jordan 3 Retro Not Nice Details
Traditionally, Christmas-themed sneakers will use stark white color palettes to evoke the snow-filled season, something we’re very used to seeing on the Air Jordan 3. However, Jordan Brand goes the opposite route, applying a cracked black leather upper to the model that reveals shades of elemental gold throughout. Moving up, black suede hits the middle eyestays and the collar, while the black embroidered Jumpman atop the tongue is trimmed in red.
Air Jordan 3 Retro Not Nice
More red details appear on the elephant print around the toe and heel, the lining of the tongue, and on the trim of the heel tab and Nike Air logo. The shoe definitely gives off coal vibes, but the real connection to Christmas comes via the insole, which features a Jumpman logo above the phrase “Checked It Twice.” Final details include a black and gum midsole and a semi-translucent grey outsole with a pop of green near the toe.

The Air Jordan 3 Retro Not Nice will be released Holiday 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $215.
