Jordan is bringing back the lasers. After pioneering the laser-etched sneaker upper at the turn of the 21st century, Jordan Brand is turning the heat up again, perfectly timed for the 20-year fashion cycle. First, we got early word that the Air Jordan 4 Retro Laser Collection would mark the return of Jordan’s two-pairs-in-one pack boxes, and now, Jayson Tatum turned up in London wearing an upcoming Air Jordan 3 Retro Laser colorway.
The Air Jordan 3 Retro Laser was seen on Tatum’s feet in London while the Celtics’ star made his rounds on the first stop of his summer tour with Jordan Brand. While the Air Jordan 4 Retros stay true to retail release pairs from 2005, the Air Jordan 3 Retro Laser takes inspiration from a 1-of-1 PE pair made for Michael to celebrate his 40th birthday in 2003.
On the retail-ready pair that Tatum debuted, the Air Jordan 3 starts with a white leather base and adds brown suede bumpers to the toe and heel. The upper features an all-over laser-etching of Jordan-themed graphics, with 23s and hand-switching lay-up silhouettes mingling with shoe prints and Nike logos. Lastly, the Jumpman on the tongue is red for a bit of color.
The Air Jordan 3 Retro Laser will be released Fall 2026 through Nike and select Jordan retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $230. For all the latest Air Jordan retro news and drop info, download the .
