The Air Jordan 3 is arguably one of the best, most popular Air Jordan silhouettes ever. Initially released in 1988, it was the first Michael Jordan signature sneaker designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield. With its exposed Air unit, clean design, and elephant print detailing, the Air Jordan 3 is a cult classic, recognized by sneakerheads and non-sneakerheads alike.
With the original Fire Red colorway returning in August 2022 with Nike Air branding for the first time, it will conclude the series, as all four OG AJ 3 colorways will now have seen at least one recent retro drop with the classic labeling. In 2013, the Air Jordan 3 Retro 88 was released. It marked the first time Nike Air branding had returned to this model since 2001’s Black Cement drop. Very limited, and it is highly sought after on today’s aftermarket.

Then in 2018, Jordan Brand blessed us with not one, but two iterations of the classic White Cement colorway with Nike Air branding, the first being the Justin Timberlake JTH Super Bowl edition, coming in the OG prototype style design with the Nike Swoosh on the sides. Then, a month later, the Free Throw Line edition, paying homage to the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest, complete with an icy blue translucent outsole. As the Air Jordan 3 turns 35 in 2023, Jordan Brand is gearing up to bring back this all-time favorite for a much-needed comeback.
The 2023 edition of the Air Jordan 3 Retro White Cement comes reimagined, much like the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Lost & Found, dropping in Holiday 2022. It will be the most accurate Air Jordan 3 Retro, compared to its 1988 counterpart to date. Coming in summit white, fire red, and cement grey, this pair features a classic white-based all-leather upper with fire red, cement grey, and black accents. The elephant print detailing on this version will be thinner, the closest to the original as it can get, as is the sneaker's overall shape. Classic Nike Air branding and new packaging round things out.
The Air Jordan 3 Retro Reimagined White Cement is set to release on March 11th, 2023. It will drop at Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, in-store and online. Coming in full-family sizing, retail is set at $210 for men. Keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay updated on future releases.
