Week 1 of the NFL season has come and gone, but for the basketball obsessives among us, that was just another week closer to the start of the hoops season. After shocking the NBA with a revamped off-season workout regime, Luka’s turned into a one-man wrecking crew for Slovenia in the FIBA EuroBasket tournament, leaving Lakers fans salivating. Luka’s hot hand continues in his shoe line with a new Jordan Luka 4 in a familiar safari print.

The Luka 4 Safari starts with a black-on-black upper covered in Nike’s famous safari print in different shapes and sizes on the lateral side panel, heel, and tongue. The medial side of the toe gets a splash of color with a pale salmon, and the sole adds some brightness with a semi-translucent slime green outsole. The Jordan logo on the toebox also gets a hit of slime green, and the Luka logo on the tongue is done in salmon.
Safari print is one of the staple design motifs in Nike’s vault, and it comes out in everything from Air Maxes and SBs to Air Forces and basketball shoes throughout the catalog. Jordan has used the safari design in every Luka shoe so far, so the wildlife colorway of the 4 was a given eventually.
The Luka 4 Safari will be released September 20, 2025, through select Jordan retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $135.
