Jordan Brand is tapping back into its vast archives to renew one of the most underrated models. The Air Jordan 15 is having a renaissance as of late, seeing its first new colorways since Billie Eilish’s take on the model back in 2021. This year, Jordan Brand dropped the Air Jordan 15 23RE that seeks to reshape the model for the modern age by shrinking the polarizing tongue and replacing it with a more form-fitting inner bootie. Not only did the new shape get a Muslin colorway, with a snakeskin rendition on the way for the holidays, but the remodeled silhouette is bringing a splash of color for the next year with the Air Jordan 15 Hyper Blue.
If there are no deviations from the mockups, which are always subject to change, the upcoming sneaker is reportedly set to be covered in a Hyper Blue shade spreading from its woven upper to the leather mudguard, heel tab, and sole unit.
The tough Kevlar upper might be taking notes from another underrated Nike model in the Nike Air Woven, as it is set to implement multiple colors across the woven upper, including red, orange, yellow, green, purple, and even a slightly lighter shade of blue according to mock-ups. Much like the other new installments of the silhouette, the model is reported to feature the snug bootie in place of the original’s extended tongue.
According to zSneakerHeadz, the Air Jordan 15 Retro Hyper Blue will be released on March 12, 2027 via Nike and select retailers online and in-store. The sneaker is set to be available in men’s sizing, though a price is unknown at the time of writing. Scroll below to see mockups of the sneaker.
