Whenever Jordan Brand releases a fan-favorite colorway, it often comes across the Jordan family. This again rings true with the upcoming retro of the Shattered Backboard Air Jordan 1 High, which will take place in July. Here, we can see the iconic sneaker from 2015 translated into a low-top version of the Air Jordan 1.
It's not an exact 1:1 replication of the Jordan 1 High colorway, but the pair does share a few similarities that earn it this Shattered Backboard nickname. Orange leather graces the toebox and heel overlay, the former surrounded by black leather on the mudguard and eyelets.
More black hues hit the collar, tongue, and lace set, while the Jumpman atop the tongue comes in orange. Diverging from the OG, we see the midfoot Swoosh rendered in orange, sharply contrasting with the white leather panel of the midfoot. Finishing the design is the sail-colored midsole and a black rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Shattered Backboard will release in July 2025 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and GS sizing, the retail price is $115 and $90, respectively.
