Every day, we get previews of Nike and Jordan Brand’s plans to celebrate the Chinese New Year, specifically the Year of the Snake zodiac. In the last few weeks, images from the six-pack of Jordan Brand models have hit the internet, including the Jordan 11 Low, Jordan 1 Low OG, the Jordan Tatum 3, and the Jordan 5 Retro. Now, a women’s exclusive Air Jordan 1 Low SE has appeared.
Like the other pairs in the collection, the sneaker takes on a neutral tone, with the leather overlays along the mudguard, eyestays, collar, and heel coming in an iridescent finish. This illustrious finish is reminiscent of snakeskin found on some snake breeds, though a direct homage to snakeskin is present on the ripstop nylon Swoosh. On the base layer of the pair, Jordan Brand keeps things simple with a white finish.
