Jordan Brand has big plans for this year, as 2025 marks the 40th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 1 and, thus, the 40th birthday of Air Jordans. While we know of plenty of classics set to return, from the Bred ‘85 to UNC Reimagined and Shattered Backboard, new variants across the Jordan 1 family are also hitting shelves. Included in this is a lace toggle-laden Jordan 1 Low.
Taking on a primarily neutral color palette, the leather paneling on the toe, mudguard, eyestays, and midfoot all come in a sail finish. This sail hue works up to the tongue and lace set, which hosts a red lace toggle, a feature not typically found on the Jordan 1. Surrounding the collar is a yellow leather panel that matches the yellow embroidery of the Wings logo on the grey leather heel.
Other branding details are mismatched, as seen with the Jumpman logos on the tongue. Here, the right pair comes in blue and yellow, and the left in black and teal. The Swoosh logos also partake in this mismatch setup, coming in teal with extra stitching on the lateral side of the left shoe and a black/orange finish on the medial. For the right pair, navy blue with yellow piping is on the lateral, and white/black is on the medial. Finishing the sneaker is the sail rubber midsole paired with a red rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Lace Toggle will release in Spring 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $120.
