Right now, the sneaker-loafer is the most divisive genre of footwear on the market, and brands have continued to lean into this trend. Hoka has even stepped up to the plate with its Speed Loafer silhouette, which takes design motifs and tooling from the Speedgoat 5 silhouette with traditional dress loafers. Alongside a new Birch colorway, the Hoka Speed Loafer is getting a Walnut color scheme.
Walnut brown hues dominate the majority of this Hoka Speed Loafer, with the titular hue applied to the leather paneling on the forefoot, collar, and base. Hits of a deep purple shade come placed on the interior sockliner, heel tab, and on the lace tassel, which mimics traditional leather tassels found on loafers. Suede paneling reinforces the upper and is done in a tonal brown shade. Down below sits a brown molded foam midsole with a tonal Vibram rubber outsole.
The Hoka Speed Loafer Walnut will release August 7, 2025, through Hoka and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $185.
