Sneaker-loafers have been one of the most divisive footwear offerings in recent memory, more so than Crocs. Virtually every major footwear brand has presented its take on the trend, including HOKA, which dropped the Speed Loafer silhouette back in January to instant sellout. After a few more colors that also sold out with quickness, HOKA is dropping a new Birch colorway this August.
Done in a two-tone color palette, this Hoka Speed Loafer applies birch hues along the leather portions of the loafer upper. Here, the forefoot is done in a leather finish in birch, accentuated by metallic gold hardware on the lace tassel, mimicking traditional leather tassels. A darker tan hue is applied to the interior sockliner, collar, and heel, while a metallic button is placed along the heel tab. Finishing the design is the black suede mudguard, a black molded foam rubber midsole, and a tonal black Vibram rubber outsole.
The Hoka Speed Loafer Birch will release August 7, 2025, through Hoka and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $185.
