The OKC Thunder star was named the regular season MVP for the second season in a row over the weekend, joining a very short list of back-to-back trophy winners, and giving him a new push heading into the start of the series against the Spurs tonight. In addition to showering his teammates with gifts, Shai’s MVP celebration is adding a new Converse Shai 001 colorway to the mix in luxurious fashion.

There’s a Snake in My Boots
While SGA and the Thunder were coiled up in wait for Wemby and the Spurs, Converse was waiting alongside them, adding the caption “Cold by nature, calm by design” to photos of the new pair. Beyond the snake print, the colorway adds tan brown shades to the zipper and the outsole with a tonal SGA logo on the tongue.
