Few logos in streetwear are more iconic than the New Era flag. From the MLB diamond to collaborations with more brands than we can count, a New Era logo is a marker of true authenticity. So when New Era and Converse came together on a shoe, you know it had to be something iconic.

The New Era x Converse Weapon Ox covers the legendary 1986 basketball shoe entirely in soft navy suede, except for the Converse logo and heel accents, which get white leather. An aged, cream colored midsole evokes the history of the shoe and memories of the Magic-Bird rivalry that made it so popular, while a navy outsole ties the lower half together with the upper.
The New Era flag makes an appearance on the heel, embroidered in white with thick stitching. More collab branding is added on the insoles with all-over print checkerboard New Era logos underfoot. Unfortunately for those of us stateside, this is a Japan-exclusive release, just like New Era’s Puma collaboration from 2023.
The New Era x Converse Weapon Ox drops August 22, 2025. Available through Converse Japan and select retailers online and in-store in men's sizing, the price is set at ¥15,400 (approx. $105).
