With the Asics Gel-Kayano 14 still one of the most popular mesh runners on the market, it makes sense for Asics to continue allowing partners to energize the sneaker even further. Coming off of collaborations with the likes of Concepts, atmos, and Senna and preceding the upcoming A.P.C. project, Japanese retailer Beauty & Youth of United Arrows has been given the green light to work on the model.
Keeping things clean and straightforward, as with most United Arrows-based collaborations, Beauty & Youth applies a clean metallic silver, grey, and white color palette to the sneaker. Material changes enhance the model as the mesh base features woven patterns that differ between the midfoot panel, toebox, and tongue. Synthetic metallic silver overlays land on the mudguard, eyelets, and heel, while the Asics tiger stripes on the midfoot take on a two-tone white and grey finish.

Branding details remain untouched, with no Beauty & Youth logos found anywhere on the design. We still see the typical Asics logo on the tongue, Gel-Kayano 14 text on the lateral heel, and Gel branding on the heel tab. Helping finish the upper is the two-tone white and black lace set, white leather overlay atop the tongue, and metallic grey sockliner. Below, the sneaker features a two-tone white and grey foam midsole with Gel cushioning throughout and a grey, black, and white rubber outsole.
The Beauty & Youth x Asics Gel-Kayano 14 will release on January 31, 2025, exclusively through Beauty & Youth online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at ¥24,200 (approx $155 USD).
