Australian retailer UP THERE is looking back for its new collab with Asics. After introducing a Natsukashii-inspired Gel-Kayano 12.1 in green earlier this fall, the Down Under retailer is back with a sequel, continuing the Japanese theme with the Japanese sneaker brand.
Continuing to channel natsukashii, the Japanese word for feelings of happy, nostalgic memories of the past, UP THERE revised the Kayano 12.1 silhouette with a clean glacier grey colorway. The toe, side panel logo, and support panels are done in white leather, with grey mesh added to the rest of the upper. A red lace stay in the middle of the tongue adds a hit of color, with a bit more red on the outsole. Otherwise, the icy grey colorway reminds us of the good times, before the glaciers started melting.
