Balletcore and low-top, thin-soled sneakers have become major priorities for adidas as the German sportswear brand has continued to pump out releases that fit right into these categories. Combining this trend with the brand’s recent affinity for exotic animal prints, adidas has prepped a leopard print version of the adidas Taekwondo Mei.
Featuring a lace-less, low-top construction, this iteration of the Taekwondo Mei coats the base layer in a faux fur leopard print, featuring tan, brown, and black spots across the design. Solid hits of black leather appear on the Three Stripes, which wrap onto the sneaker's outsole, the lace-less tongue, and the heel tab. Brown leather and mesh line the interior, with the adidas Trefoil logo on the insole and heel in a tonal brown shade. Below sits a semi-translucent gum rubber sole unit with pods in the heel and forefoot.
The adidas Taekwondo Mei Leopard W has seen a small release at select retailers, but will have a global launch via adidas in the Summer 2025 season. Available exclusively in women’s sizing, the retail price is $120.
