With all the talk around tariffs affecting every industry, especially the footwear world, some brands will consider relocating manufacturing facilities. For adidas, they are heavily reliant on Asian manufacturing hubs for their sneakers, but a select few models do get constructed in the brand’s home country of Germany. The next Made in Germany adidas sneaker is the Superstar, taking on a Core Black Core White color scheme.
Following up on the White Black rendition of the Made in Germany Superstar earlier this year, this Black White iteration flips the color palette, applying black hues to the premium leather base layer. The rubberized shell toe comes in a contrasting cream white hue, while the lace set, leather Three Stripes, heel tab, and sockliner come in core white.

Golden adidas Superstar text, a nod to the original branding detail from the sneaker’s 1969 run, lands next to the Three Stripes on the midfoot. On the heel, adidas stamps “1/1969,” both a nod to the year the Superstar initially launched and denoting that the pair is limited to 1,969 units. Final details include the premium white leather insole and a cream white rubber midsole and outsole.
The adidas Superstar Made in Germany Core Black Core White will release in Summer 2025 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $250.
