Grace Wales Bonner may have missed the final cut as the head of Louis Vuitton’s men’s line, but she’s got something in common with the man (Pharrell Williams) ended up in the role: an adidas partnership. Her eponymous label was already gaining worldwide recognition ahead of the first Wales Bonner x adidas capsule in 2020, but the subsequent series of releases from the duo made Wales Bonner a household name amongst sneakerheads. Following up on the preview of the duo’s Spring/Summer 2026 offerings at Paris Fashion Week, an all-new croc-skin Wales Bonner adidas Superstar has appeared.
The design may seem a bit familiar if you’ve been keeping up with Bonner’s output, as this new Superstar utilizes the same design motifs found on her previous adidas Superstar makeover from Fall/Winter 2024. The same faux croc skin upper, accenting Three Stripes, extra stitching details, and contrasting sockliner are found here, though the midfoot Three Stripes opt for a brown finish.
