In 2025, adidas is looking to revitalize its Superstar series. Not only will The Three Stripes bring forth a ton of different collaborative renditions of the silhouette, but new variants and comebacks of older styles. For the new year, they’re looking to inject the Superstar into a sports category with a rollerskate version of the iconic sneaker.
adidas employs typical materials and construction — at least for the top half of the model, as it features a high-top cut of the sneaker. Black leather details cover the profile and eyestays, featuring usual Superstar details like the name of the sneaker spelled out next to the Three Tripes, extra stitching details, and perforations between the adidas logo on the midfoot. The shell-toe also remains intact, matching the mostly black look of the upper.
