Edison Chen and CLOT have found the perfect middle ground between Chen’s recent affinity for traditional European footwear and adidas’ classic catalog, infusing staple silhouettes with elevated details. Next up for the duo of CLOT and adidas is a beaded version of the Stan Smith, which follows up on the espadrille-laden version of the sneaker that launched earlier in the year.
Unlike the deconstructed nature of the previous pairs, this CLOT x adidas Stan Smith retains the typical white leather upper of the model. Perforated Three Stripes appear on the midfoot, while a mini CLOT logo and Chinese characters that spell out CLOT are found on the left and right pair, respectively. The most significant change comes back on the heel, which now features a beaded pattern atop the navy nubuck panel.
