It doesn't get more classic Three Stripes than this one. Hot off a year of collab and inline success that brought it from deep cut favorite to catalog staple, the beloved Adidas Handball Spezial is back in a coat of red suede straight from the factory in Germany.

Simple, clean, and bold all at the same time, the Made In Germany Red Spezial is red suede everywhere except a blue hit on the tongue logo and the three stripes, heel tab, and collar, which all get an equally classic cream leather. The cherry on top is a gum sole and a matching gum trefoil hangtag.
The Handball Spezial has long been a cult fan favorite of Adidas diehards, with a deep legacy in British terrace culture. Over the past year, Adidas rode the Samba wave into similar models and handed the Spezial silhouette over to collaborators like Sporty & Rich, Solebox, and Invincible, pushing the model to a bigger audience, and following those up with a set of inline releases that kept the hype up.
This time around, the Three Stripes goes back to the basics, producing the Red Spezial as part of the company's Made in Germany program, known for its superior craftsmanship, high-quality materials, and low production numbers. Every shoe labeled Made In Germany comes straight from Adidas' factory in Herzogenaurach, Germany.
The Adidas Spezial Made in Germany Red will release in August 19, 2025 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $200.
