Jordan Release Calendar

Emily Oberg successfully transitioned from covering the fashion industry as a member of the media to actively participating in it after she founded Sporty & Rich. What put the preppy label on the map was their partnership with adidas that began in November 2022, which also happened to be one of the sparks that helped reignite the interest around the adidas Samba in the early part of the 2020s. Since then, they’ve worked on multiple projects each year, with the next revisiting the adidas Samba.
Keeping in line with the brand’s preppy style, Oberg’s latest take on the adidas Samba keeps things simple and straightforward with its color palette. A stark white shade is applied to most of the leather paneling, while a light grey/cream shade is used on the suede T-toe overlay and the leather sockliner. Nylon materials appear on the Three Stripes, which are done in a two-tone green and navy combo.

More green hits appear on the co-branded adidas and Sporty & Rich tongue, the Trefoil-laden heel tab, and the co-branded text on the leather insole. Finishing the upper is the Sporty & Rich text written in gold foil along the midfoot. Down below, the Samba OG is complete with its classic gum rubber sole unit.
The Sporty & Rich x adidas Samba Cream Green Gum will release in 2025 through Sporty & Rich, adidas, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price has not been confirmed at this time.
