Just when you thought adidas was done with the Samba, the German sportswear giant comes back with another banger – this time in the form of the adidas Samba OG Rhinestone. From a distance, it may look like a standard black and silver rendition, but take a closer look and you'll quickly realize this is actually one of the most attention-grabbing colorways ever made.
The base of this Samba is crafted from tumbled black leather that’s soft and supple to the touch. But rather than just leaving it there, adidas has encrusted thousands of crystals across the entire upper, each one catching and refracting light from every angle. Even the T-toe, Three Stripes, and heel badge are dripped out in rhinestones to really drive the theme home. The result is a sneaker that glitters with every step – equal parts terrace icon and disco ball.

Often travelling between the UK and Hong Kong, don't be too surprised if you find Adam anywhere else around the world taking street photography or feasting on the local delicacies.
But it’s not all change. The legendary Trefoil is printed on the tongue in crisp white, while the OG gum sole from the '40s makes a welcome comeback – because no matter how experimental adidas gets, you can’t beat the classics.
The adidas Samba OG Rhinestone is set to drop sometime in Holiday 2025 via adidas and select retailers. If you want a pair in your collection, stop what you’re doing and download Sole Retriever's mobile app.
