Exotic animal prints have become a common sight in women’s fashion, especially at adidas. On multiple occasions, the German sportswear giant has applied leopard and cheetah prints to its various staple silhouettes, like the adidas Samba. Continuing to do so, the Samba LT gets a faux pony hair and leopard print makeover.
The traditional leather or suede build associated with the Samba is swapped out for a faux pony hair base, with this material coming blacked out on the T-toe overlay and the base. Leopard print details appear on the midfoot Three Stripes, the vamp, long folded tongue, sockliner, and heel tab, all of which (minus the sockliner) are also rendered in a faux fur finish.

Extra stitching details around the edge of the folded tongue and heel clearly riff off the motif found on many of Grace Wales Bonner’s adidas projects. Final details include golden hits on the adidas text atop the tongue and on the eyelets, brown laces, and a gum rubber midsole and outsole.
The adidas Samba LT Leopard Print will release sometime in 2025 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
