Like every superstar in the league, we’ve gotta assume that James Harden’s offseason has been a sales pitch to LeBron James. The Beard and Donovan Mitchell are hoping that King James decides to come home for a curtain call next season, pushing the Eastern Conference contender into a Finals favorite. Part of that pitch? A bit of sneaker separation. With Harden and Mitchell both on adidas, LeBron would have free rein on the Swoosh side of things in the ‘Land.
As we wait to hear what LeBron decides for the upcoming season, adidas is still pumping out new colorways of the Harden Vol. 10, including a Northern Lights pair that James previewed on-court during the playoffs last season. After getting a quick look at the pair on the hardwood, the celestial sneaker is finally getting a retail release next month.

The adidas Harden Vol. 10 Northern Lights covers the rippling one-piece upper with a streaking mix of blue and green like the aurora borealis. White dots flow through the middle of the upper, running diagonally from the toe to the heel as a flood of stars visible in the color-changing sky over Alaska. A black inner bootie switches to a night sky vibe in the middle of the silhouette, with black laces and neon green dots on the vamp.
The adidas Harden Vol. 10 Northern Lights will be released August 1, 2026, through adidas and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $160. To keep up with all the latest adidas Harden news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
