The 3D-printed sneaker market is just getting into gear. While Nike continues to roll out new pairs of the Air Max 1000.2 and previews pairs from the Air Works design project, The Three Stripes is working on its own printed advancements, building on the Climacool legacy with the all-new 3D-printed Futurecool.
The Future is Cool
The adidas Futurecool debuts in an off-white base with a white-to-black gradient rising up from the sole on the Three Stripes logo. The slip-on silhouette keeps the same general feel as the Climacool, but with durability, breathability, and comfort additions, adding a multi-texture design that gets tougher on the medial side. To debut the shoe, adidas is dropping 400 numbered pairs of the Off-White colorway ahead of the silhouette’s wider release next year.
