The adidas F50 Elite LYT304 features the postcode of Yamal's hometown, and there are only 304 pairs to be released! This is not the first time the German sportswear brand has signed a teenage sensation at FC Barcelona to be on their books, as Lionel Messi paved the way.
It has been a simply incredible year for Yamal, who is still just 17 years of age. After becoming the youngest player to ever appear at the European Championships, he also became the youngest player to provide an assist and score a goal, as he helped Spain win a fourth Euro while being named Young Player of the Tournament.
Those extraordinary accomplishments are unbelievable when you learn he hadn't graduated high school until a few weeks before the tournament. Even more recently, Yamal was awarded the Golden Boy, named the best player in Europe under 21. Alongside breaking into the FC Barcelona first-team, he has had a mercurial rise to stardom, and to celebrate this, his first-ever signature shoe.
Lamine Yamal's adidas F50 Elite LL FG LY304 arrives with an upper constructed from Fibertouch. The 3D Sprintweb overlay is adorned in hues of clear pink, the teenager's favorite color. Along the midfoot, the iconic Three Stripes feature gradient hues of purple glow and light pink in a subtle yet vibrant blend. White and pink accents are used on the Primeknit collar, which provides a secure fit.
On the right shoe's medial, 304 branding replaces the traditional F50 placement, which is reversed on the left. Gold accenting wraps around the shoe while denoting several design features and more 304 branding. The postcode belongs to Rocafonda, an area in Mataro, Spain, where Yamal grew up.
Underfoot, a Sprintframe 360 outsole provides the latest energy retention and spring. The teenager's initials can be seen underneath in a translucent design. Superior traction across grass surfaces is guaranteed. Each pair comes in special packing, furthering the exclusivity of this soccer shoe.
