After a triumphant return last year, the adidas BRMD (formerly Bermuda) will appear in a vibrant aesthetic to start 2025. Though the name is not uncommon, one can assume the name change came about due to a legal request. The model was first reissued by END. last year as part of the British retailer's Bauhaus Collection, and since then, several inline colorways have followed.
First introduced in the 1970s as a leisure shoe, the BRMD was seen in various iterations, but the Made In France model became the shoe that the world knows today. Utilizing a sole unit rarely used by the German sportswear brand, the distinct low-cut silhouette became a favorite amongst fans of terrace-style clothing. Adopted by adidas collectors into what has become known as the Island Series, the sneaker was first reissued in 2013, and then a hiatus from production led to the current revival.

Craig Bell happily talks about sneakers or as he calls them "trainers" every day of the year. An avid Bradford City fan, he's also a big supporter of the Philadelphia Eagles. He will forever profess that Cricket is better than Baseball and that Rugby League is better then Rugby Union. Among his many hot takes, he believes the adidas ZX range is the pinnacle of sneaker design.
