A year and a half after the release of Anthony Edwards’ first signature sneaker, the adidas AE 1, we finally have a look at the follow-up in the adidas AE 2. Sole Retriever provided an early render of the All-Star colorway, and subsequently a reveal of all the upcoming colors for the Spring/Summer 2026 season, but first looks for these unseen renditions will begin to hit the ‘net in the coming months. First up is the Lucid Pink colorway.
Coming primarily in a two-tone black and pink color palette, this colorway of Ant-Man’s second sneaker features a pink midfoot mesh base that is accented by more hits of pink on the AE logo atop the tongue, the Three Stripes on the heel tab, and pops of the color peeking through the black TPU louvre located reinforcing the toe and eyelets. Surrounding the black and pink on the louvres are tan TPU panels, wrapping around the toe and forming the second reinforcement near the heel.
Moving up, the tongue, mesh collar, and heel are all black, matching the faux carbon fiber plate on the heel counter. Lightboost, Lightstrike foams, and a propulsion plate for energy return are embedded within the sneaker. These are placed within the tan rubber outsole, which features a multi-directional herringbone traction pattern for grip on the court.
The adidas AE 2 Lucid Pink will release on Janaury 17, 2026, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s, GS, and PS sizing, the retail price is set at $130, $100, and $80, respectively.
