Jordan Release Calendar

Following up on a major hit is always a struggle; no matter what industry you’re referring to, just ask Anthony Edwards and adidas. The duo hoped to find the same success they had with Ant’s first signature model, the adidas AE 1, though the sneaker community's response has been subar to say the least. Following a few different releases to kick off the sneaker, adidas is dipping the model in bright orange for NBA All-Star Weekend.
The mid-top silhouette is coated primarily in an orange color scheme, with metallic silver pops throughout the design. Starting down at the toe, we see a white toecap similar to the design of the AE 1 surrounded by two TPU louvres, which provide stability and breathability. These louvres are rendered in orange to match the mesh paneling across the upper, but they are surrounded by a more rigid TPU in metallic silver.

This claw-like wrap is also found on the heel, though we see a more rounded shape and faux carbon fiber here. Ant’s logo comes in metallic silver atop the tongue, contrasting the orange hues of the lace set, sockliner, and the tongue itself, matching the shade found on the Three Stripes of the heel. Underfoot sits an orange and metallic silver midsole and outsole featuring Lightstrike and Lightboost cushioning and a multi-directional rubber herringbone outsole embedded with a propulsion plate.
The adidas AE 2 All-Star will release on February 12, 2026, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and GS sizing, the retail price is $130 and $100, respectively.
