The latest performance runner from the adidas Adizero range, the Adizero Aruku, appears in a Core Black Iron Metallic colorway that utilizes reflective detailing for those safety-conscious late-night runners.
One of the brand's flagship collections, the Adizero range is a world leader for its innovative approach to lightweight and high-performance footwear. This line was initially designed for elite athletes and competitive runners, focusing on the little things that can make a difference, no matter how small. Shoes in the range feature cutting-edge technology like Lightstrike Pro foam and carbon-infused EnergyRods; these innovations deliver maximum energy return and efficiency during long-distance runs, making them ideal for elite racers and serious amateurs looking for a competitive edge.
The design team focuses on lightweight and flexibility without compromising stability or comfort, and the results have positioned the Adizero line as a go-to choice for those aiming to break personal records. The current women's marathon world record time of 2:11:53 was set by Kenyan Tigst Assefa while wearing the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 at the 2023 Berlin Marathon. Now being adapted for the Lifestyle branch of adidas Running, the Adizero Aruku is designed to be more of a day-to-day training shoe, intended to be worn by the more casual runner over shorter distances.
The adidas Adizero Aruku Core Black Iron Metallic upper comprises a singular piece of core black breathable mesh overlaid with a skeletal TPU support structure featuring reflective 3M. adidas EQT and Adizero branding is seen at the heel, with more Adizero branding upon the tongue tag. The lace set also features more hits of 3M that reflect when hit with light. Underfoot, the latest technology from adidas is implemented, with the striking iron metallic midsole featuring Swirlfoot cushioning and finished with a black rubber outsole.
The adidas Adizero Aruku Core Black Iron Metallic is set to release on December 10, 2024, via adidas and select retailers online and in-store. In men's sizing, retail is $140.
