Donovan Mitchell’s next signature model with adidas, the DON Issue 7, has emerged in various colors before its summer debut. While Sole Retriever provided an early look at renders of many releases for the model, official images of pairs are now beginning to hit the ‘net. Next up on the DON Issue 7 calendar is a Preloved Violet colorway.
Like many of the other DON Issue 7 colorways, this pair features a gradient pattern on the mesh, transitioning from a cream white on the toe into violet and black as you move back towards the heel. A warped grid pattern is applied to the toe for reinforcement, while the Three Stripes on the midfoot, done in a dotted pattern, comes in a black hue that blends into the dark black near the heel. Moving up, we find a neoprene and mesh bootie with a zipper shroud coated in black.
Pops of violet contrast with the black bootie on the tongue and heel, featuring the Donovan Mitchell spider logo on the tongue, while the adidas Three Stripes on the heel tab comes in cream. Underfoot sits a gradient foam midsole that mimics the pattern found on the upper, a black TPU shank on the midfoot, and a two-tone rubber outsole with cream on the forefoot and violet on the heel.
The adidas DON Issue 7 Pulse Preloved Violet will release on November 8, 2025, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $120.
