California fashion designer Willy Chavarria has always incorporated his Chicano heritage into his clothing collections, and his ongoing partnership with adidas is no different, bringing Mexican-American themes to a collection of retooled Jabbar colorways earlier this year. Continuing the collaboration with adidas, Chavarria is bringing his bold red and black aesthetic to a high-top pair of Forum 84s.
The Willy Chavarria x adidas Forum 84 Hi is decked out in black leather from top to bottom, with blood red hits on the Three Stripes logos, Chavarria branding on the ankle strap, and Willy Chavarria logo with a red rose on the tongue tag. Willy’s signature is also featured on the ankle of the high-top, but in gold instead of red.
As immigration raids around the country ramp up under an increasingly militarized ICE, Chavarria has made a point to push back, across his social media accounts, in a new documentary film called Heart of the Valley about the residents of his home town, Huron, California, and through his clothing and sneaker designs, which always reference traditional Mexican and modern Mexican American aesthetics.
The Willy Chavarria x adidas Forum 84 Hi will be released October 23, 2025 through adidas Europe and select retailers in-store and online. As of now, a US release is still up in the air. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $190. For all the latest fashion sneaker cross-over collabs, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
