Baseball season is in full swing, and Nike has plans to celebrate the MLB in more ways than one. The Beaverton sportswear giant designs the City Connect jerseys for teams across the league and will drop a collection of Air Max 270s celebrating these uniforms. On top of this, with the upcoming Nike Kobe 6 Dodgers and the previously-released Jackie Robinson Cortez, Nike will release a Rivalry Pack containing two Dunks, one for the Boston Red Sox and another for the New York Yankees.

If you’re not aware (and we’re not sure why you wouldn’t be), the Red Sox vs. Yankees rivalry is one of the most intense and long-running rivalries in sports history. Their history together dates way back to the beginning of what became Major League Baseball. Still, the true start to the rivalry can be traced to when the Red Sox sold Babe Ruth to the Yankees, beginning an 86-year World Series championship drought for Boston.

Red hues for the Red Sox pair take over the mudguard, eyelets, and Swoosh, while white is on the toebox, midfoot, tongue, and collar. Thunder Blue shades help complete the upper on the heel overlay, tongue tag, heel tab, and sockliner. Though no apparent nods to the Red Sox themselves are present, the baseball stitching on the white lace set helps tie together the sports theme.

The Yankees pair comes in a similar colorblocking but with shades that align with the Bronx Bombers' uniforms. Navy hues take over the mudguard, eyelets, and Swoosh, while greyscale shades find a home on the heel overlay. The design finishes with the baseball stitch-inspired laces, coconut milk-colored midsole, and navy rubber outsole.

The Nike Dunk Low Rivalry Pack Red Sox vs. Yankees will release in Fall 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $115.
