Nike Celebrates 9 MLB Teams City Connect Jerseys on the Nike Air Max 270

Major League Baseball has been back in action for around two months now, and we’re getting a decent picture of the direction teams are heading for the rest of the 2025 season. Like the NFL and NBA, the MLB has a deal with Nike that sees the sportswear giant create special uniforms that pull inspiration from the culture and history of the cities these teams reside in, the City Connect Collection. Nike has also prepped nine different Nike Air Max 270s to match these jerseys, spanning the National League and American League.

The nine teams include the Arizona Diamondbacks, Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox, San Francisco Giants, Miami Marlins, Washington Nationals, Chicago White Sox, Houston Astros, and Colorado Rockies, with each pair featuring the same open mesh, TPU, and synthetic construction. Colors reflecting each team’s City Connect unis are applied to the silhouette, with MLB logos gracing the tongue and the heel containing the emblem used on these City Connect jerseys. Other nods to the teams are found on the insole, while a gradient foam midsole features the traditional Air Max 270 Air unit and a tonal rubber outsole.

The Nike Air Max 270 MLB City Connect Collection will release on June 6, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $160.
