As we get knee deep into the soccer-influenced fashion era of World Cup season, adidas is back in its wheelhouse, adding as many national team collabs and soccer shoe takes as possible, right down to encapsulating an F50 cleat in TPU so you can wear your spikes on the street. For the latest pairs of F50, adidas turned over design duty to Yohji Yamamoto’s Y-3 line, for a 20-year retro of the iconic Beast Pack that first hit shelves in 2006 for the World Cup.

The Y-3 adidas F50 Tunit Beast Pack features four pairs of the sleek indoor soccer shoe transformed into decorative beasts: a Blue Dragon, Red Eagle, Gold Tiger, and Grey Wolf. On all four pairs, the fur or scales of each animal decorates the entire shoe with a snarling face painted on the toe.

The Blue Dragon and Gold Tiger pairs stand out the most, with vibrant colorways covering the uppers and insane detail on the animal faces. On the Blue Dragon pair, the sockliner and Three Stripes accents are done in black leather, while the Gold Tiger pair switches it up to white on the Three Stripes. While the original collab from ‘06 was made for the pitch and limited to just 1,000 pairs, the new pairs are retooled to be worn casually and will be released across multiple retailers.
